We can help you with just one service or let us handle everything so you can spend your time doing something you really enjoy! Each service is priced differently and the costs are listed below (because we know that's the first thing you'll want to know).

Consultations

We always start with a consultation (preferably in your home or via "Skype™") to discuss what you want to achieve and how to achieve it. We'll ask you dozens of questions about how you live, what you want, what you don't want, how long you'll be in your home, special needs and considerations of family members, and other important details.
 
We'll then give you practical, specific information about how to achieve your dream, how to calculate how much you should invest in your project, how to make educated decisions, what questions to ask your contractor, and where to shop for materials and appliances. We'll even give you ideas you probably never even considered!
 
If you are considering building or remodeling a home, or you've already started, we encourage you to hire one of our consultants before you go one step further. You'll be so glad you did!!
 
Cost: $100 per hour (most consultations are between 1 and 2 hours)
 

 

 

Renderings and Photo Enhancements
Renderings -
Renderings are the best choice for new construction projects or projects that require major structural changes (moving walls, replacing cabinets, etc.). Architectural plans are fine, but they are just one-dimensional plans. With a CAD (computer-aided design) rendering, you'll know exactly how your space will look and feel before you begin any work because you can see your space in 3-D and even get an animated virtual tour around your room or house.
One of the best benefits of a rendering is that you, your spouse, your builder and interior designer will all have the same vision of what your space should look like when it's finished. This also saves a lot of time and money because a picture eleminates miscommunication. Because all your changes are made on the rendering, you'll eliminate most or all "change orders" which is the main reason construction projects accumulate excessive overages on time and money.

Photo Enhancements - 
Photo Enhancements are best for smaller projects when only a few elements will be changed. If you want to change your countertop, backsplash, cabinet finish, paint or wallpaper, flooring, light fixture, plumbing fixtures or appliances, you'll love this! Email us a photo of your space (kitchen, bathroom, fireplace, etc) along with the surface you want to change, and we'll super-impose the new surfaces onto your photo. Can't decide on three different granite selections? A photo enhancement will make your decision easy!

Cost for Rendering: $5 per square foot per room; two revision sessions included
Cost for Photo Enhancement: $250 per image; three versions of the same image are included in this price.

 

 

Material Selection

We’ll take you on a one-on-one shopping excursion where we will educate you about cabinets, countertops, flooring, backsplashes, paint colors, plumbing fixtures, electrical fixtures, appliances, hardware and anything else that confuses you! We won't just select your materials for you; instead, we will teach you how to put together colors and textures yourself and be there to help guide you so you will be confident in your choices and won't be second-guessing your selections. This step also eliminates "change orders" which is the main reason construction projects accumulate excessive overages on time and money.
 
Cost: $100 per hour
Averages: kitchen = 12 hours, bathrooms = 5 hours, entire house (new construction) = 30 hours)

 

 

Purchasing Power

Once products and materials are selected, we use our vast knowledge of resources to get the best pricing and delivery dates possible without sacrificing quality. Our team checks pricing daily and works hard to get the biggest deals for you. Our discounts generally range from 30% to 50% off retail costs. Although we have relationships with certain vendors, we are always loyal to you, the customer, first and foremost. Whether you want something from Austin or Australia, we'll find it, price-shop it, order it and deliver it. In fact, we recently tracked down some discontinued wallpaper for a client. We found the last four rolls in the universe hiding in Russia! Needless to say, our client was thrilled!
 
After ordering, we will track the products you've selected and have them shipped directly to the job site or address of your choice.
 
Cost: Our best discount + 30%
(So worst case scenario...
you end up paying original retail cost, but you get our time and expertise for free!)

 

 

Contracting and Project Management

As if all this wasn't enough, we can also put all the parts together by handling the contracting and project management of your residential remodel. We know how disruptive a remodel can be to your life so we will make it as quick and painless as possible. Because we won't start your project until all the details are finalized, you can be sure your project will be completed quickly, professionally and cost-effectively.
 
We are proud to say our estimates are usually within 5% of the original estimate. Since we spend so much time with you in the pre-construction phase, we know exactly what you want and how much it will cost. Therefore, our estimates are incredibly accurate and eliminates invoices that are much more than anticipated.
 
Cost: 30% of actual job costs
